The Aventador SuperVeloce has an atmospheric 6.5-liter V12 with 740 horsepower

The new Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce unveiled ahead of its 2015 Geneva Motor Show debut.  And if the brand's details on the new model have anything to do with it, it should live up to its name.

Motorization

The “Superveloce” version of the Lamborghini Aventador has more power, less weight and revised aerodynamics.  It delivers what the Italian automaker describes as “the purest embodiment of a Lamborghini to date”.  With “Lamborghini super sporty DNA, dynamic superiority and exceptional driving precision”.

The Lamborghini Aventador Superveloce (or SV) with a 6.5-liter V12 engine saw its power drop from 515 kW to 552 kW, while its weight reduced by 50 kg thanks to the widespread use of carbon (today 1525 kg  ).

New Design

Lightweight measures include new sport bucket seats and carbon fiber door panels.  While the interior does away with an infotainment system (although it is possible to reuse it for free), carpet and noise isolation.  There are also carbon elements on the exterior, including a new wing and air separators.

Four-wheel drive

The result is that the four-wheel-drive SV can hit 0-100 km / h in just 2.8 seconds (down from Aventador's regular 2.9-second claim), while its top speed is  greater than 350 km / h.  The regular Aventador is limited to 350 km / h.

As a result, the brand claims it is the “sportiest, fastest and most emotional Lamborghini series” it has ever made.

It is fitted with 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels.  With Pirelli P Zero Corsa tread and standard carbon ceramic brakes.  The Aventador’s push-button suspension system includes an adaptive "Magneto Rheological" suspension on the SV, which the marque claims provides immediate response to road conditions and driving style, and counteracts nose-down under heavy braking.

The steering system is an electromechanical system known as Lamborghini's dynamic steering.  This changes the gear based on road speed and what driving mode is selected.  The company says the system “provides even greater stability at high speeds;  While considerably facilitating maneuvering at low speed ”.
